The angel is pointing out that Jesus’ body is no longer there, and He is alive. The other thing I would like to point out to you is that Jesus is no longer on the cross.

Jesus died naturally. When He was on the cross, He cried, “It is finished,” and He gave up the ghost. In other words, He died just as any other human being would have died; but when He died, something very different happened.
