HE IS NOT HERE

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

The angel is pointing out that Jesus’ body is no longer there, and He is alive. The other thing I would like to point out to you is that Jesus is no longer on the cross. He had to go by way of the cross so that we would be able to be born again.

I also want to make sure you understand that Jesus is still ministering. He has taken His heavenly seat that is far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, but He is also ministering in His High Priest office. The Word tells us He is the High Priest over our profession, or confession. It is not just your confession of faith in the new birth. He is also a High Priest after the order of Melchisedec. That means Jesus is the High Priest over the tithe and offering, and He blesses them just as Melchisedec did for Abraham (Hebrews 7:1–8).

In 1 John 2:1, we see Jesus as an advocate with the Father for those who are born again and who confess their sins. Only Jesus can do that. No natural man can do it, and it was not meant to be imitated. We can confess our faults one to another, but it is only when we pray to the Father that Jesus is there as our Advocate to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 8:34 says this, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Jesus is at the right hand of God making intercession for us. He is praying for us, advocating for us, blessing us as we tithe and give, and He is watching over our confessions of faith. He is the great Amen and should have the final word in our lives. He is very busy working on your behalf, and we should be very grateful.
