UNITY OF THE SPIRIT
We are called to love one another, and one of the main reasons is to keep unity in the church.
God of All Peace!
He is the God of all peace. There are two kinds of peace. The first kind of peace is peace with God. Jesus abolished the enmity between us and God.
INSULT OR LOVE
Such an interesting time we live in. A time when godly wisdom is mostly disdained.
LABOR FERVENTLY IN PRAYER
Epaphras doesn’t seem to be a five-fold minister. He is noted as a servant; it says, “Who is one of you.”
NO OFFENSE
Great peace is the result of doing this verse; and if there is one thing that is missing in a lot of people’s lives, it is great peace.
BE LOOSED!
I want you to notice that Jesus said that Satan had bound this woman. He was telling us, and everyone who would listen that day in the synagogue, that Satan is the one who puts sickness and disease on people.
SHOUT, MAGNIFY, AND PROSPER!
We are told to shout unto God with a voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1). We are told to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8).
THE LORD IS GOOD!
For the Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever. You could hear them say this, and then the place was filled with the glory of God.
BE A TRUE WORSHIPPER
If there are true worshippers, then there are false worshippers and everything in between. One very big aspect of being a true worshipper is found in Matthew 15:8-9.
SEEK HIS FACE
Jesus said we should spend our energy seeking the eternal life that He made available to us. We only have so much “energy” to go around; what are our priorities?
FOLLOW HIS VOICE ONLY
A stranger will try to lead you away from Jesus and from the flock that He has assigned you to.
“SHEEPDOM”
When we were born again, we officially became His sheep. You don’t grow into “sheepdom;” you are His sheep.
WISE OR FOOLS
There is a contrast in these two scriptures of two different kinds of people and how they handle life’s crisis moments.
I PRAY FOR YOUR LOVE
The subject of walking in love is one of the most vital subjects of the New Testament. The two greatest commands Jesus gave are to love the Lord and love your neighbor.
WHAT’S OF REAL VALUE?
We are talking about a Holy Ghost prayer that the Apostle Paul was inspired to give to us. We can surely pray this prayer for ourselves and see the results, but we can also take this inspired prayer and pray it for others.
PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING.
When we refuse to worry and, instead, pray and receive from God and are thankful, the peace of God will take the place of worry.
WORK, LABOR, AND PATIENCE
And now abides faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. That is from 1 Corinthians 13:13 found in the great love chapter.
IN THAT NAME
Jesus was telling His disciples and us that He has given us authority. What is authority? In this context, it is talking about power over something or someone (the devil and his demons).
