This reminds me of Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Can you have faith to be healed and not get healed? Yes. The man had faith. Paul perceived it, meaning Paul, by the Holy Ghost, knew in his spirit that the man had faith.

One of the greatest accounts we have for seeing how faith works in receiving healing is found in Mark 5, concerning the woman with the issue of blood.

We have a great example of how to receive the promises of God in Romans chapter 4.

It is the will of God that you receive all the promises of God that are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. How do you receive them?

Those of us who are saved are to live by faith. The Bible says in multiple places that the just—those who are saved—shall live by faith.

I want to talk to you about something I wish someone would have told me from the very beginning of my walk with the Lord, and that is living by faith.

We are to live by faith every day. There are four Scriptures—one in the Old Testament and three in the New Testament—that tell us, “The just shall live by faith.”

Speaking the Word of God is very important for many reasons. One reason is that you can’t be born again without the great confession of faith.

Joshua and Caleb are powerful examples of what it means to have a spirit of faith. The Word tells us in Numbers 14:24 that Caleb had a different spirit.

How does faith come? It comes by hearing the word of the LORD.

Abraham is our father in the faith. We have become his children and his heirs. We have a right to all that was promised to him by God.

There appear to be two groups of people here: one who tries to come to God by the law, and another who comes through the avenue of faith.

The promises of God are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. What are His promises?

Grace, in this case, is what God is offering to us freely. We simply have to receive this free gift.

In the verses above this Scripture, the Word is telling us that being an heir of Abraham was never meant to happen through the law, but through faith only.

One of the greatest gifts from the Holy Spirit is that He will help you forget. Forget the evil you have done.
