SURE TO ALL THE SEED

Romans 4:16 (KJV)

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.”

The promises of God are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. What are His promises? There are so many, and they are all written down for you. The reason they are sure is because the Word of God itself is sure.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s Word will never pass away. His Word will never return void, but it will always accomplish what it was sent to do. The Lord even says this, and it should bring much assurance to you: He is not a man that He should lie. God doesn’t lie. God can’t lie. When He says something, He will also do it. He will make it good. You can count on that.

He is faithful to His promise. He is faithful to His Word. In order for you to receive the promise, you must at some point count God faithful. Sarah did this in Hebrews 11:11. She counted Him faithful who had promised. When she did that, she received the strength necessary to conceive Isaac, even though it was naturally impossible.

God wants you to know that you can count on what He has said to you. If you can believe what He said instead of what you see, He will be able to manifest what He said in your life. His promise is sure because He is faithful.
