When people are first born again, they are repenting from rejecting Jesus. They may not cry or wallow on the ground, but that is what is happening. That have decided to receive Jesus as Savior and follow Him.

What is sanctification? It is being set apart by God for special use. The Lord Jesus asked the Father to sanctify us by His truth (John 17:17).

Three things that are very important for every believer are listed in this passage of scripture. We are to love from a pure heart, have a good conscience, and sincere or real faith.

We are married to the Lord, and He expects us to keep our marriage vows. He looks at us in many various relationships.

The Lord knows how to deliver us out of all the temptations, snares, traps, and situations that the devil may throw at us.

Sometimes, the Message paraphrase helps us get it in modern language.

There are many benefits to walking in meekness. Moses did it, and he was the most trusted man on the Earth during his time.

As we see in the verse before this one, Paul was ministering to Felix about faith in Christ.

I chose this verse today because many people abuse this verse. The King James version is not well translated for us in this particular verse because of the word moderation.

We are to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

What is meekness? It is definitely not weakness. Because Jesus was meek, and Moses was the meekest man on the Earth at that time, God used Jesus and Moses to deliver His people, so meekness is not weakness.

Along with humility, the Lord is asking us to come to Him and learn about the meekness that He walked in on the Earth. Meekness is one of the nine fruits in our recreated spirit. This fruit is vital for us to walk in.

First, let me say, right before this, Jesus told us to come to Him if we are loaded down, and He would give us rest. There is nothing like the feeling of rest.

We can see from this verse and the previous verse that the Apostle Paul was telling us, by the Holy Ghost, that if we are serious about finishing our course, we have to have temperance in our life.

We have been made free from sin. We have been delivered from the penalty of sin. The one and only reason is because of what the Lamb of God, the Son of the Living God, the Creator of all things did. Jesus became sin.

What do you have? God was not asking her for something she didn’t have, and I know God will not ask you for something financially you do not have.

We can see from this verse and the previous verse that the Apostle Paul was telling us, by the Holy Ghost, that if we are serious about finishing our course, we have to have temperance in our life. He goes on to liken it to getting a prize or crown for an athletic event.

When you go on a tour with a tour guide, they will point things out and tell you what you are seeing and even what you should look at and look for.

When I think of these two words, wisdom and understanding, this is what they mean to me. Wisdom is the application of knowledge.

When we are in physical pain or trouble, this portion of scripture tells us a vital key to walking in health and wholeness.
