We must understand that we can control the thoughts we have. We can make sure our thoughts don’t turn into vain imaginations causing us to think differently of ourselves than what God has planned for us and called us to be.

We are to put on the new man. The image we are supposed to get is likened to putting our clothes on in the morning. Are you dressed properly like you would be with the armor of God?

The word “meditate” is very important in the Word of God.  Unfortunately, it is also a word used in other Eastern religions. 

In order to get the most out of meditating on the Word of God, it has to be your delight, the center of your life. You live your life out by living the Word of God out in your life.

We all want to have good success in life; but to get that success in God, it starts with meditating on the Word of God. How do you meditate on the Word of God?

In 1 Samuel 2:26, we see that Samuel grew in stature and favor with God and man. This favor was bestowed upon Samuel; and as he grew physically, he also grew in favor with God and man.

Moses was a highly favored child.  He had a destiny from the time he was in his mother’s womb. 

There are qualities and characteristics that we must have to maintain the graciously given gift of favor with God and man.

The Lord has given us a Word from the Word for 2025.  He said it would be a year of profuse favor.  When He said that, through a prophetic utterance, I didn’t really remember the Amplified Classic translates it exactly that way, “profuse favor.”

This scripture says that Jesus increased (grew) in these areas.  He grew in wisdom, He grew taller as He got older, and He grew in favor with God and man.

We all want the Lord to direct our paths.  We want Him to order our steps because we know that will be the best for our lives, but we must do what the first part of this verse teaches us for this to happen.

The Lord has given us His strength; we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living in us and quickening and making alive our mortal flesh.

The Amplified Bible says, “And will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions...”  What are we supposed to be hearing?

This is a good life scripture if we want to get along with our spouses, children, friends, enemies, co-workers, and anyone else you can think of.

We are healed physically by the stripes of Jesus. Jesus was scourged and beaten, and Isaiah 52:14 says it was beyond human recognition. Isaiah 53:5 foretold that Jesus would take the beating for our sicknesses and diseases.

Jesus and the 12 disciples were operating together in delegated authority and now, Jesus was about to expand the team. 

Jesus’ authority came from God.  In John’s gospel, many times and in many different ways, Jesus let us know that He didn’t do anything on His own.

It seems we are being given a look behind the scenes at some angels conversing and the psalmist recording it. They wanted to know what, exactly, is a man?

All Christians believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. That is the only way you can get saved.

What are the things that have been put under Jesus’ feet? In other words, what has Jesus taken back from the devil after defeating him through His death, burial, and resurrection?
