MEDITATION BRINGS RHEMA

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We all want to have good success in life; but to get that success in God, it starts with meditating on the Word of God. How do you meditate on the Word of God? The Bible says you shall not let it depart out of your mouth. Confession is part of meditating on the Word of God. To meditate is to ponder and to mutter. You get a scripture and say it out loud over and over, and you think about it and ponder it. As you do this, the Word of God will become a revelation in your life, or you will better understand it; and then, you can act on it because you believe it.

You and I will not act on what we still have questions about. In other words, until you are sure in your spirit, you will not respond with corresponding faith actions.  The meditating, the speaking, should all lead to the observing or the doing.  You and I know, according to James, that faith without the corresponding action is dead faith.  Faith came when we heard, but it didn’t manifest because we didn’t do it.  Good success only comes when we hear, meditate, speak, and then, do!
