WE ARE SEATED

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

All Christians believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. That is the only way you can get saved. If you don’t believe in the resurrection, then salvation is not available to you. Many believers are learning that Jesus, in His death, burial, and resurrection, destroyed the works of the devil, but many more still need to understand that. One of the last things people need to get is that we, too, were raised with Jesus on that glorious day when the Holy Ghost went into Hell and raised up Jesus after all the penalty for sin had been paid, after healing was purchased, after He became poor so we could become rich, after He redeemed us with His blood, and after He had the keys of death and Hell and ready to give them back to us.  We have been raised up together to sit with Him in Heavenly places.

Ephesians 1:20 clearly tells us that when Jesus was raised from the dead, He was seated at the right hand of the Father, and that Jesus was now above all the works of the devil. It states in Verse 22, that all things were put under His feet. Remember, the Father told the serpent (the devil), someone is coming through a woman who you will bruise His heel, but He will crush your head. That is what Jesus did. He crushed the devil’s head. But one of the greatest verses in the Word is Ephesians 2:6 that talks about our resurrection and our seating. We have been seated in Christ Jesus at the right hand of the Father. We are sitting with Him, and, in Him, we have been given a position on the Earth that is also far above the works of the devil. Jesus gave us His name, His dominion, and the keys, so now it is time for us to rule and reign in this life by one Jesus Christ.
