Moses was a highly favored child.  He had a destiny from the time he was in his mother’s womb. 

There are qualities and characteristics that we must have to maintain the graciously given gift of favor with God and man.

The Lord has given us a Word from the Word for 2025.  He said it would be a year of profuse favor.  When He said that, through a prophetic utterance, I didn’t really remember the Amplified Classic translates it exactly that way, “profuse favor.”

This scripture says that Jesus increased (grew) in these areas.  He grew in wisdom, He grew taller as He got older, and He grew in favor with God and man.

We all want the Lord to direct our paths.  We want Him to order our steps because we know that will be the best for our lives, but we must do what the first part of this verse teaches us for this to happen.

The Lord has given us His strength; we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living in us and quickening and making alive our mortal flesh.

The Amplified Bible says, “And will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions...”  What are we supposed to be hearing?

This is a good life scripture if we want to get along with our spouses, children, friends, enemies, co-workers, and anyone else you can think of.

We are healed physically by the stripes of Jesus. Jesus was scourged and beaten, and Isaiah 52:14 says it was beyond human recognition. Isaiah 53:5 foretold that Jesus would take the beating for our sicknesses and diseases.

Jesus and the 12 disciples were operating together in delegated authority and now, Jesus was about to expand the team. 

Jesus’ authority came from God.  In John’s gospel, many times and in many different ways, Jesus let us know that He didn’t do anything on His own.

It seems we are being given a look behind the scenes at some angels conversing and the psalmist recording it. They wanted to know what, exactly, is a man?

All Christians believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. That is the only way you can get saved.

What are the things that have been put under Jesus’ feet? In other words, what has Jesus taken back from the devil after defeating him through His death, burial, and resurrection?

Doctrine is listed first. That makes sense because without the Word of God, there is nothing for the Holy Ghost to perform. Without good doctrine, or a good diet of the Word of God, believers can’t grow in their faith.

This account is from the woman at the well.  Jesus had an encounter with this woman as she was drawing water. It all started with Jesus asking her to get Him a drink. 

Long life is a promise to all believers, but there are conditions to make sure we have long life. 

Most people know about Hanani’s famous brother, Nehemiah.  He was the one who, against all odds, with the favor of God rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem. 

Focus is everything. What you and I focus on could very well determine our victory in many situations. When I think of how important focus is, I often think of an account in the Old Testament.

The Holy Spirit is the revealer of all truth, even the deep truths of God. For someone to walk by faith, it must come to them from the logos, the written Word of God. The logos must be taught, or preached, or read, or meditated upon.
