REVEALED TO US
1 Corinthians 2:10 (NKJV) But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
The Holy Spirit is the revealer of all truth, even the deep truths of God. For someone to walk by faith, it must come to them from the logos, the written Word of God. The logos must be taught, or preached, or read, or meditated upon. As we do that, the Revealer, the Spirit of Truth, does what He does. He will turn the logos into a rhema, a revealed truth, that gives you faith. When it is revealed to you, you can walk in it. In Verse 9, it says that God has prepared things for those of us who love Him, but it also says that eye has not seen, and ear has not heard for they had not yet entered the heart of man. In other words, for faith to receive all that God has made available to us because He loves us, it must first be revealed to us. The Holy Spirit will reveal it to us, but what He reveals must get into our heart for us to be able to walk in it. Remember, it says, “But God has revealed.” He is always revealing truth to us, but we must position ourselves to hear this truth. When we do, we will be able to receive all that God has prepared for us because all the promises of God are yes and Amen in Christ Jesus!
Today, so many Christians seem to be discouraged because they know what the will of God is, but they can’t seem to receive the promises of God that are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. I think the key to relieve this frustration is, don’t skip the step of meditating like God told Joshua and don’t neglect hearing personally from God. We need to be able to say, like the Apostle Paul, “I know in whom I have believed.” You must actually know God for yourself before the revealing begins. The more you know Him, the more revelation you will have of Him, and the more of the Word of God you will walk in. Paul went on to say, “And I am persuaded that He is able.” It is when you are fully persuaded that you will see the ability of God in your life like never before.
