JESUS SAW

John 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your Father.

First, in both realms with God, the Father, and with Satan, there is seeing. Before there is doing, there is seeing, and it is not just natural, it is spiritual. I like the Amplified Classic with this passage of scripture which says, "I tell the things which I have seen and learned at my Father's side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father." It can be seen as physical seeing but also, a spiritual seeing of how the Father does things and the intent of His heart in the doing of things. Then, you also see these religious people who, more than once, Jesus called children of the devil, learning and seeing things from the devil himself. We are of God and called His little children and Jesus Himself is not ashamed to call us brethren. So, we have the ability to see and learn from the Father right at His side, at His very own right hand in Christ Jesus. Our prayer should be, “Teach me your ways. Show me and let me see with my eyes your works and your ways.” Open my eyes, Lord!”

Just like in the natural, we can look at a father and son, or a mother and daughter and see a family resemblance. In other words, you know they came from the same gene pool. We ought to be able to clearly see who is of Father God and who is of the devil. You have one of those two fathers. You get to choose. Once you choose Jesus, you are in the family of God, and there ought to be some family resemblances showing up. No more lies; that is of the devil. You become kind; that is of God. You know the character of God versus the character of the devil. We ought to be able to say with Jesus, “I say what I hear my Father say; I do what I see my Father do.” When we get here, things will change, not only for us but for everyone around us.
