Day 30 | communion

The Lamb on the Throne

Day 30 of At His Table turns our attention from the sacrifice of the Lamb to the victory of the Lamb. Revelation 17 declares that Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings—and no matter what rises against Him, the Lamb wins. Because we belong to Him, His victory has profound implications for how we live today.

Today's devotional challenges us not to wait until eternity to begin receiving what Christ accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection. Through faith, we're invited to walk in the freedom and promises Jesus purchased for us now. The Lamb of God gave Himself so that sin would no longer rule us and so that we could live from a place of victory rather than defeat.

As you take communion today, remember that receiving what Jesus has provided is one way we honor His sacrifice. Just as a gift is meant to be opened, received, and enjoyed, Christ's finished work is something we're invited to embrace and walk in. Day 30 encourages us to look to the victorious Lamb on the throne and make a decision: don't just remember what Jesus purchased—receive it, value it, and walk in it.
