Day 31 | communion
Songs to the Redeemer
Day 31 of At His Table brings our 31-day journey of communion to a powerful conclusion. Throughout this month, we've reflected on the body and blood of Jesus, the suffering He willingly endured, and the incredible price He paid for our redemption. But today's devotional reminds us that the story didn't end at the cross or in the tomb—Jesus is alive.
The suffering Lamb is now the victorious King of kings and Lord of lords. Revelation 5 gives us a glimpse of countless voices surrounding the throne, declaring that the Lamb who was slain is worthy of all power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. His blood has redeemed people from every tribe, language, people, and nation, and one day we'll join together around His throne in worship.
As we take communion one final time in this 31-day journey, we're invited not only to remember what Jesus endured but to celebrate what He accomplished. His suffering is finished, His sacrifice was enough, and our redemption has been secured. Now we have the privilege of carrying that testimony into the world and telling others what Jesus has done for us. May these 31 days leave us with a deeper gratitude for His sacrifice, a greater appreciation for His blood, and a renewed desire to make much of Jesus wherever we go. Worthy is the Lamb!
