What He sees the Father do

John 5:19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."

What I want to concentrate on is when Jesus said, “what He sees the Father do, He does likewise.” So many people are trying to do something before they know something or believe something. You have to see it before you can seize it. The doing of the Word is the seizing of the promises that are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.

Many people want to do something without the revelation of it, and it doesn't work. You have to see it or know it or have a revelation of it before you can do it. Lord, open the eyes of our understanding so we can see it so we can do it.

Just as an addendum, you should always obey the written Word of God. For instance, when Jesus said to forgive or walk in love, you should just do it because He says to, and when you do, it will be a blessing to your life.

If you are in need of healing, but don't yet have a revelation of the Word of God in that area, so you just try doing something to be healed; apart from a spiritual gift in manifestation, you will not receive because your believing doesn't come from a place of seeing or revelation.

Again, Lord, open the eyes of our understanding.
