Jesus the Intercessor - Part 2

Hebrews 7:25 “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them.”

You and I, who have received Jesus as Savior, are saved fully and completely and to the extreme. How? Because Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. We have someone who not only died for us but is currently at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.

Hebrews 4:14 says Jesus is our High Priest, and we can see one of His duties as High Priest is to ever make intercession for us. We have a High Priest who understands what it is like to be human and to be tempted. He was tempted in every way just like us (it’s true even if you cannot figure it out with your mind). He, therefore, constantly and consistently is making intercession for us.

Wow, what a Savior! What a Lord! With this constant intercession, we are saved to the uttermost. Jesus is on your side. He not only died for you, but He is ever living to make intercession for you. He is totally invested in our lives and in our success to live a victorious life.
