God Has Some Things Prepared for You
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
The plan of God for your life is not naturally discerned; it must be realized in the spirit. You can get some clues from the natural, like what motivates you or what irritates you. In other words, what are you passionate about, both in the positive and the negative?
I believe we were all created to solve some problems or even a specific problem. You must discover what problem you were created to solve. Some of the problems are natural, some are both natural and spiritual, and others are spiritual. God has designed you from your mother’s womb to solve something.
To realize what God has ordained your life and destiny to be, you have to get into the spirit. One way to do that is by just getting into the Word of God. Jesus said, “My words are spirit and life.” Study the Word of God because it is “a lamp unto your feet and a light for your path.” The more Word you have, the more light you will have.
The Lord also reveals things to your spirit that enter into your heart, your kardia. According to this Scripture, there are things God has prepared for you: the zoe, the God-kind and quality of life. The only way you can find out these things is for God to reveal them to you by the Holy Ghost.
Can you see why so many people, even those who are born again, wander through life unfulfilled? It’s because they have never discovered, through revelation, what their purpose is in this life. Thank God for revelation of His living, written Word, but He also wants to reveal His plan for your life.
Get in the Word, get into prayer, pray the Ephesians 1 prayer, pray in the Holy Ghost, worship the Lord, and wait on Him. As you get in the spirit, He will reveal the plan He laid out for you in your mother’s womb so you can do it and hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” when you stand in front of Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
