FULNESS OF JOY
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
We all have a path to walk in. The steps of the righteous are ordered of the Lord. The only way to walk the path God has for you is to be born again and to follow the Word of God and the leadings of the Holy Ghost. Although God has a plan for you and it happened in your mother’s womb, you will not walk in that divine path unless you are following God. This path is God’s best for you, and you should find it and walk in it.
God’s presence is so important. Isaiah 10:27 says the anointing, or you could say the presence of God destroys the yoke of bondage. God’s presence lives inside of us; it is Christ in us, the hope of glory. You can experience the glory of God daily when you understand that the glory lives on the inside of you. You can also and should experience God’s presence when we gather, not just for Saturation meetings, but every time we get together because we are spiritual stones built up for a habitation of God through the Spirit of God; God want to manifest Himself. One of the ways He manifests His glory is in joy. In His presence is fullness of joy! I have been totally changed by God manifesting His joy. While we are in His presence, heaviness leaves, depression leaves, physical healing comes, and a refreshing comes. When the fulness of joy comes, we are strengthened. Thank God that His presence brings us this joy that changes our lives. We should believe that when we come together, His presence is in manifestation, and He brings His joy into the room that changes people’s lives.
We are seated at the right hand of God. Ephesians 2:6 says that we were raised up together with Him to sit in Heavenly places. Since we are at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus, everything that is under Jesus’ feet is under our feet. Then our scripture for today says that at His right hand are pleasures for evermore. What does that mean? Most people put these pleasures off until heaven because that is what they believe this means. But is that it? Joy is for right now. Salvation is right now. I think the pleasures are also for right now. These include all the good things that God has given us as His children. In salvation, there is healing, blessing, protection, doing well. Those could be pleasures. We are told that if we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness that all the things (pleasures) the gentiles seek, will be given to us, and surely, goodness and the mercy of God will follow us around. That sounds like pleasures. He has given us all things in this life to freely enjoy. God is not against you having the pleasures of this life, but He is against the pleasures of this life having you. Don’t seek the pleasures of this life, the good of the land where you live. Seek God, be seated at the right hand of God, find the path that God has ordained for your life and then, walk in it, and those pleasures that others seek after, God will pour out on you.
Lord, show us the path for our life; help us to get in and stay in your presence, and give us revelation so we can stay seated at your right hand!
