Romans 12:16 (AMPC) “Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.”
The NLT says it this way: “Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!”
One thing I know that God detests is a “clique” mentality. We are all part of the Body of Christ if we are born again, and every part is important. We should always do our best to make people feel comfortable and welcome, especially in church.
One of the best ways to do that is to serve one another. You should never get too big for your britches to serve someone else. No one is that important. When we serve each other in love, it breeds an atmosphere that is conducive for God to move.
